Today is all about the most iconic race track in the United States, maybe the world: Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Enjoy their "kiss the bricks" guided tour before checking out some other Indy motorsports sites. Then we head north to Ft. Wayne with an ice cream stop in Cammack, IN. On the way, you'll get one more museum, but it's a secret we're keeping to ourselves for now!

Day 3 starts with a visit to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum, one of the most beautiful car museums in the world. See art deco cars in an art deco place! From there, we'll bop across the street for a quick visit to the National Truck & Auto Museum before heading on up to Motor City!

Time for the crown jewel of transportation museums! The Henry Ford. From iconic cars like JFK's limo to trains to Rosa Parks bus to airplanes and even a historic village, there's so much to see! OVER 1 MILLION MILES AND COUNTING! For the better part of a decade, Two Lane America has been on the road in some capacity with Route 66 always being a cornerstone of our travels. Austin Coop, founder and lead tour guide, has personally traversed the 2,400+ miles of Route 66 dozens and dozens of times. His love for the Mother Road led to lifelong friendships and partnerships with the small businesses and funky roadside attractions along the way.

Awesome trip! Austin is so conscientious about his guests. Sites were beautiful. Drives were a good daily length with plenty of bathroom stops. Suggested restaurants were good. People on the trip were a great group. Accommodations were very nice. I have a hard time choosing a favorite activity—Mt. Rushmore or the rodeo at Cody, WY or Frontier Auto Museum or the Crow Reservation with fry bread tacos.

This trip was fantastic. Two Lane America, Austin, has an incredible gift to plan and execute these trips. These trips are so stress free and you just follow Austin’s lead. You go to places you’d probably never go on your own. We did Yellowstone a few years ago on our own. The experience with Two Lane America was way different on so many levels. You meet great people to travel with who turn into lifelong friends, hotels are great, activities are enjoyable. This way to travel.

This was our 6th trip with Two Lane America and Austin Coop. As always trip was wonderful covering many more sites than we would have been able to experience had we done the trip on our own. Austin always keeps the customer as the top of his mind and works hard to ensure everyone has a wonderful time while staying safe. Just back from Austin’s newest itinerary – Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore – and once again, he has hit it out of the park. Stunning scenery, lots of history and interesting stories, and best of all, no need to concern yourself with the logistics of planning. Austin’s careful and thoughtful planning shines in every aspect of the trip – from daily drivers’ meetings outlining our itinerary for the day, to the constant communication on the road with the cars using provided radios, and even adding a few surprise elements that make an already great trip that much better. You can tell that Austin loves the road and puts every ounce of himself into making these unforgettable trips for his travelers. I’ll recommend Two Lane America to anyone looking to hit the road and see what adventures await them!

Two Lane America and Austin Coop delivered a phenomenal experience, once again! The road trip caravan from Salt Lake City, UT to Rapid City, SD was filled with adventure, inspirational sights of nature, and fellowship. Austin has a unique talent of attracting great people as clients which translates into fantastic fellow travelers! He then guides us to some great sites / sights through which we build a genuine camaraderie and then stay in touch long after the road trip ends. This is my fourth trip with Two Lane America and Austin and it certainly won’t be the last! HIGHLY recommend!
