This was one of the best trips I have ever been on! Every day was loaded with wonderful locations that were fun, informative and entertaining. Austin, our tour leader had every detail planned and organized, anticipated potential problems and isuues and had solutions when needed. The hotels were extraordinary, the food delicious and the scenery divine. If you ever have the opportunity to travel with Austin, I would recommend it very much!

Having traveled Route 66 about 4-5 times with another couple we never made it all the way to the very end in California. About five years ago I discovered Two Lane America and Austin Coop. I decided that it would be a good time to take my 39 year old son with me. My reason for going was twofold: we were going all the way to the end and I chose the ride-along option, so I didn't have to drive. This year for the 100th Anniversary I decided to choose that same option with a friend who had never traveled Route 66. On both occasions, Austin alway added something new on several occasions that I had never seen. Austin is very knowledgeable about the road. He does take a caravan of about 20 cars on each trip if you wish to drive. For me, personally, the ride-along-option just fit. Believe me when I say, you will not be find a better comprehensive trip of the Mother Road (Route 66) than Two Lane America!

We loved being able to focus on the sights, experiences, and people along the way without worrying about all the logistics. We had a spectacular time with Austin and Two Lane! The hotels were all very comfortable, with a great breakfast every morning. A few locations were absolutely incredible with history, art, and elegance far above what we expected. We honestly couldn't choose our favorite location! Austin was so very attentive and aware of his group's individual needs - like where are the car wash locations for those travelling in their own sports cars or vintage cars. The connections by walkie/talkie with each car made our trip more fun too. We will both remember the yellow school bus that Austin chose to transport us all to a local restaurant - it was the wish of a fellow traveler from outside the USA to see a yellow iconic school bus. Austin chose that bus over a standard bus! Everyone was cheering! What a wonderful experience all together! We highly recommend taking a caravan tour with Austi and Two Lane! We are looking at the National Parks Tour for a future vacation!!
